Business Continuity Planning centers on planning for the unexpected. When "stuff happens," having a response plan in place can provide sound, dispassionate guidance. 

• A business continuity plan describes how your business would continue to function in the event of disruptive events, whether those events are external or internal to your company. For example, a continuity plan would help define how your business would cope if you lost your main production facilities to a major fire.
